Welcome to Connect The Dots. By using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Connect The Dots. By accessing or using this app, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. We use in-app date-of-birth verification to enforce this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate your account if we discover you are under 18.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your profile
Not impersonate any other person or use a false identity
Maintain only one active account per person
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Connect The Dots to:

Harass, abuse, stalk, threaten, or intimidate other users
Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your profile
Distribute unsolicited commercial messages (spam)
Upload explicit, obscene, or harmful content
Engage in any activity that violates applicable Indian or international law
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the app or its systems
Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the app

4. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to authorities where required: child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, non-consensual intimate imagery, content promoting violence or terrorism, and hate speech based on religion, caste, gender, or sexual orientation.

5. Location Data

Connect The Dots uses your device's GPS to determine your real-time location and show you nearby users. Your precise coordinates are never displayed to other users — only approximate distance is shown. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings, though this will limit core app functionality.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload, including profile photos and bio text. By uploading content, you grant Connect The Dots a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content within the app to facilitate its core features. You are solely responsible for the content you post and its legality.

7. Reporting and Moderation

We provide in-app tools to report and block users. We review reports and reserve the right to remove content and suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms. We may share information with law enforcement where legally required under Indian law (IT Act 2000, POCSO Act, and related legislation).

8. Disclaimers

Connect The Dots is a platform for meeting people nearby. We do not conduct background checks on users and make no guarantees about the accuracy of user-provided information. You agree to exercise reasonable caution when meeting people in person. We are not responsible for the conduct of users on or off the app.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Connect The Dots and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to personal injury, loss of data, or loss of revenue.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India. Users outside India acknowledge that their use of the app is governed by Indian law.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes through the app.
